Senior Golf Cart Tour slated for May 22 in Bettendorf

The Friends of the Bettendorf Park Foundation hosts Golf Cart Tour
The Friends of the Bettendorf Parks Foundation and Bettendorf Parks and Recreation will host the annual Fall Senior Golf Cart Tour at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11.   

The Friends of the Bettendorf Parks Foundation will host a Golf Cart Tour of Bettendorf’s recreation trail on Monday, May 22. 

The event will consist of a tour of the Duck Creek Recreation Trail from Palmer Hills Golf Course to Devils Glen Park and back. Transportation will be on golf carts provided by the city-owned Palmer Hills. Carts may be operated by the participants or operators also will be provided. Drivers must be at least 18 years old.

Stops will be made at several sites along the way. Liquid refreshments will be provided. The tour will last about two hours round trip and will depart at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 

Tours are limited to 70 people. Parking will be at Palmer Hills Golf Course, 2999 Middle Road, Bettendorf.

There is no fee, but registration is required and begins Tuesday, May 2. The deadline to register is 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 18. To register online, go to www.bettendorf.org/sgctour. There is no rain date this year.
