The Freight House Farmers Market will open its outdoor market season on the weekend, May 3 and 4, along the riverfront in downtown Davenport.
The market will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (until 2 p.m. indoors) and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We’re kicking off this season with a bang!” said Missy Carter, executive director. “We are more than a market — we are a celebration for the whole community. Come out and support local small business owners with us as we welcome back our amazing growers, makers, and artisans. From farm-fresh goods to handcrafted treasures, the Quad Cities’ finest is all right here waiting for you.”
Opening weekend highlights include live music curated by Common Chord along with makers, artisans, bakers, prepared food and food trucks.
