Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC)’s three campuses will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 17, to assist students with advising, financial aid, and registration for the upcoming fall semester.

The special events will be held at Scott Community College (SCC) Belmont Campus, Muscatine Community College (MCC), and Clinton Community College (CCC).

In a Wednesday, Aug. 14 news release EICC said the event will provide a valuable opportunity for students to register for classes, meet with advisors, and get their financial aid questions answered – all in one convenient location. As an added bonus, attendees will receive a free T-shirt and the chance to win a set of AirPods.

At SCC’s Belmont Campus in Bettendorf, students can also enjoy a free lunch. It’s courtesy of La Flama’s food truck which will be serving throughout the event.

With fall semester classes starting Monday, Aug. 26, the colleges said it is the perfect time for students to ensure they are ready for a new semester.
