The relationship between the United States and China is a critical one, becoming even more significant with the current tensions over politics, security, and trade.

Quad Cities area residents are invited to get an inside look at this relationship on Tuesday, April 9, when Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) joins more than 70 locations across the country to host CHINA Town Hall. The live webinar will be presented at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Muscatine Community College’s Student Center, located at 152 Colorado St., Muscatine.

After the webinar, participants at the EICC event can hear commentary from a local expert, followed by a discussion at 7 p.m. The online webinar also can be watched at eicc.edu/chinatownhall

The national broadcast features Deputy Secretary of State Dr. Kurt M. Campbell for a discussion of today’s most important issues and the critical roles the United States and China play in an era of rapid global change. This marks the 17th annual CHINA Town Hall program.
