Veteran financial advisor Tim Lane has announced that Edward Jones is expanding to LeClaire.
The new office, located at 1103 Canal Shore Drive, sits at the gateway to the community of 5,000, said Mr. Lane, who also resides in LeClaire. “We were drawn to LeClaire because of the river. But we fell in love with the community, so much so that we are bringing our business to LeClaire.”
Mr. Lane, who joined Edward Jones in 2008, said his current office at 1805 State St., Bettendorf, will be led by Garrett Beirne, who joined the firm a year ago.
With a home office in St. Louis, Edward Jones is a complete wealth management company. It is led by Managing Partner Penny Pennington, who describes the Fortune 500 company as human centered. The company offers retirement planning services and wealth building strategies for individuals and small businesses, helping them achieve their goals.
Edward Jones employs 50,000 associates in the U.S. and Canada, including about 100 in the Quad Cities region. According to Mr. Lane, a limited partner in the firm, Edward Jones plans to add two or three new Quad Cities offices in the next year.
“We use an established process, working together in most every aspect of our client’s financial lives,” he said, adding that the new office will be ready to begin serving clients in mid-March.
