East Moline to host State of the City on March 7

The East Moline State of the City address will be presented by Mayor Reggie Freeman from noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7, at the Bend Event Center in East Moline.

The doors open at 11:30 a.m. at the 910 Bend Blvd. events center, and meal service begins at noon. There is a $20 fee to attend and have a meal. There is no fee to just attend the State of the City address. The event is open to the public. 

People who will eat lunch are asked to RSVP by Monday, March 4, to emsecretary@eastmoline.com or call (309) 752-1599.

The lunch menu includes bourbon glazed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, corn, salad and roll.

During last year’s State of the City, Mr. Freeman outlined several significant projects completed, in the works and in the planning stages across East Moline.
