A collection of 12 notecards featuring local artists’ paintings of the old and new Interstate 74 bridges now are being offered exclusively by the Downtown Bettendorf Business Women.

The notecards, printed on high-quality cardstock, cost $20 per set with all proceeds going to projects that benefit the community.

Organizers said that every aspect of the project – from the artwork to the printing and sales – is done locally.

The notecards are available now at these downtown Bettendorf businesses: Concept Bath, 2203 Grant St.; K&K Hardware, 1818 Grant St.; Tango Salon, 836 State St.; and WITHIN Interior Design Studio, 1733 State St.

The notecards make great gifts for teachers, employees and anyone who has a current or past connection to Bettendorf. Sets are limited.

Downtown Bettendorf Business Women was founded in 2017 to promote the variety of businesses and services located throughout the downtown commercial district. For several years, it has sold ornaments featuring the iconic I-74 bridge to help support its community work.

The organization annually funds holiday projects benefiting families in need in Bettendorf, and awards $500 scholarships annually for female students at Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley high schools in memory of the late Bettendorf Alderman Debe LaMar. It also awards art scholarships for children of all ages.
