Laura Davis has been named the new chief strategy officer for Midland Davis Corp. in Moline.
In this strategic leadership role, Ms. Davis will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company’s overall strategic vision to drive growth and innovation.
“As a fifth-generation leader at Midland Davis, we are thrilled to have Laura Davis in this role to help guide the company for years to come,” Martin Davis, president of Midland Davis Corp., said in a news release.
Ms. Davis will work closely with the executive team and department heads to align the company’s strategy with its mission and vision, the company said.
Ms. Davis said she is excited to continue her family’s legacy of sustainability and customer service and to help the company grow over the next few years.
Midland Davis, headquartered at at 3301 4th Ave., provides recycling solutions for businesses, municipalities and residential properties. The company has more than 130 years of experience in the industry of recycling, processing ferrous, nonferrous metals, paper, plastic and wood waste out of its headquarters in Moline.
The company has a nationwide brokerage division buying and selling recycled materials and a facility buying and selling and repairing pallets in Rock Island.
