The Western Illinois University Career Center will host a Quad Cities College Career Fair in conjunction with Augustana College, Black Hawk College, St. Ambrose University and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Augustana’s Pepsico Center in Rock Island.
“The Quad Cities higher education community is excited to partner for this event and offer the opportunity for organizations to connect with our talented students and alumni,” said WIU Career Center Director Audrey Adamson.
The event is open to all students and alumni of the sponsoring schools, or other community members who are college graduates or currently enrolled in a degree program.
More than 120 employers from the Quad Cities area are scheduled to be at the event. Some of them include: John Deere, Amazon, Mediacom, OSF Healthcare, Rock Valley Physical Therapy, WQAD News 8, City of Rock Island, YMCA of Iowa Mississippi Valley and more.
QC-Drop-in Resume Review Days for WIU-QC students will be offered at the WIU-QC Complex C in Moline, or over Zoom (by appointment only) before the event, from 1:30-4:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 26, and from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27.
