BankORION will celebrate the completion of a new operations facility at 4700 Kennedy Drive in East Moline with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m., Friday, June 14.
The bank is relocating its operations facility into the former McClure Engineering Associates, Inc. office. The two-story commercial building, built in 1993, was remodeled for BankORION by Centennial Contractors of the Quad Cities in Moline. The new facility spans 11,000 square feet.
“Our customer base has grown over the past several years and the manner in which we need to serve our customers and employees has also evolved,” Matthew P. Bollinger, BankORION’s president and CEO, said in a news release. “The new facility is equipped with additional technology and offers expanded space, enabling us to improve our efficiency and continue delivering exceptional service to our customers.”
He added: “This strategic move is part of our long-term growth strategy, ensuring that we remain competitive and responsive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. While our operations have moved to a new facility located in the Quad Cities, our roots and headquarters are still located in Orion, Illinois.”
The 134-year-old bank operates seven full-service branches in Cambridge, Aledo, and Annawan, Illinois, as well as the metro Quad Cities in Moline and Bettendorf. It has total assets of $641 million.
