Argrow’s House of Healing and Hope will present a Back-to-School Period Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Argrow’s House Café, 3811 Harrison St., Davenport.
During the event, essential menstrual period supplies will be collected for girls and teens in the community.
Argrow’s House is collecting the following new, unopened items:
- Pads (all sizes).
- Tampons (regular, super, and super plus).
- Panty liners.
- Feminine wipes.
- Period underwear and menstrual cups.
All donations will be distributed to survivors of violence and others in need through Argrow’s outreach programs.
Argrow’s House is a nurturing community that operates a social enterprise to support female survivors of domestic abuse or sexual violence along their entire journey to achieving social and economic vitality.
