Alzheimer’s awareness signs shared at LeClaire Library Sept. 17

Tim Lane, a LeClaire resident and board member for the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Iowa, will present a “Know the Signs of Alzheimer’s” program at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17,  at LeClaire Community Library, 323 Wisconsin St.  

The presentation will focus on raising awareness of Alzheimer’s and other dementia, informing the community of Alzheimer’s resources, and offering opportunities to engage with the Association’s mission.

The talk will cover common dementia warning signs, the importance of early detection, the benefits of a diagnosis, and possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process. Mr. Lane will also share resources offered by the association.

Whether you’re concerned about the health of yourself or a family member, or just looking to learn more about dementia, this presentation will have something for you.
