The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) is now accepting nominations for its 2024 Legends in Manufacturing Awards.
The awards are sponsored by ABI, through its Elevate Advanced Manufacturing program. The awards recognize up to four outstanding leaders in manufacturing who have made significant contributions to the manufacturing industry in Iowa.
Nominees for the first three categories should be individuals who are/were key company leaders, past or present. Nominees for the Manufacturing Champion award should be individuals or organizations not directly engaged in manufacturing activities, but whose activities support the industry.
“This is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exceptional leaders who drive innovation and excellence in Iowa’s manufacturing sector,” ABI President Mike Ralston said in a news release. “Their dedication and hard work are the backbone of our industry and our state’s economy.”
The 2024 Legends awardees will be honored during a lunch ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 2, during the ABI Iowa Manufacturing Conference, which will be held at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny.

- 100-300 employees: Osmundson Manufacturing, Heather Bruce (Perry).
