Join virtual event for Illinois High-Speed Rail study

SPRINGFIELD, Illinois – A virtual public event to discuss the Illinois High-Speed Rail Feasibility Study will be online from Monday, April 28, through Sunday, May 11. The public is invited to participate at their convenience.

Organizers encourage public participation, emphasizing its importance to the project’s success. The virtual event can be accessed at www.ILHighSpeedRail.org.

The event will feature a pre-recorded presentation, project exhibits, and opportunities to share feedback through comments and a brief survey.

The study proposes a high-speed rail network connecting Chicago and St. Louis, with potential expansions to Rockford, Moline, Peoria, Decatur, and other areas.
