The Bi-State Regional Commission is hosting a virtual public meeting to go over the first draft of the Draft Traffic Safety Action Plan (TSAP) for the region from 5-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30.

The traffic study team will be in attendance, answer questions and address public comments about the Draft TSAP. To register, click here.

The Bi-State traffic safety plan will serve the Quad Cities area in Iowa and Illinois as well as Kewanee, Illinois, and Muscatine, Iowa. To view the first draft and the appendices, click this link. A comment form is available on the Bi-State website link if you are not able to attend.

According to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), a TSAP is a “powerful tool to prioritize traffic safety improvements and justify investment decisions.” The goal is simple: to ensure people can reach their destinations safely.
