Cinco de Mayo Taco and Margarita Festival returns to East Moline

Get ready to spice up your spring with the 3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Taco and Margarita Festival as the fiesta returns to downtown East Moline from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, May 3,  and promises a day packed with flavor, fun and family-friendly vibes.

The festival will feature more than 100 booths offering everything from handmade artisan crafts to direct sales finds. But the real stars of the show? The tacos!

A variety of vendors will be serving up street-style tacos with all the fixings, plus other tasty treats and desserts. Wash it all down with margaritas in unique flavors like strawberry and cotton candy, or opt for a flight to sample them all.

Live music and cultural performances will happen all day long. The Final Mix Show band from Des Moines will kick things off, followed by a Quebradita Dance Competition and a surprise cultural performance. As the sun sets, Banda Perla Del Sur will close out the festivities.

There will be a dedicated Kid’s Zone featuring carnival games, prizes and activities. With convenient parking and a shuttle service, getting to and from the fiesta will be a breeze.
