MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GMCCI) will host a job and career fair and a prep clinic in May.
A Job Fair Prep Clinic will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Musser Public Library, 408 E. 2nd St. The clinic, which is free and open to the public, will offer resume editing and printing, interview and professional grooming tips, and career advising.
The job and career fair will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at the YMCA, 1823 Logan St. The event is also free and open to the public and does not require registration. Booths will be hosted by local businesses, schools and staffing agencies.
“Preparation is the key to success, and we want to make sure jobseekers have the tools that enable them to put their best foot forward,” said Lindsay Trumbull, director of membership at GMCCI.
