Safer Sacks, Safer QC’s largest fundraiser, order deadline is Friday, April 18.
The organization is celebrating 20 years on Thursday, April 24, and has set its biggest goal yet — selling 2,250 sack lunches. The fundraising helps support second chances for individuals impacted by the criminal legal system while providing a delicious, easy way for businesses and community members to give back.
Each lunch includes: Ham, turkey, and cheese croissant-wich; bag of chips; cookie; fruit; and condiments.
Safer Sacks lunches are $9 for pick-up or $10 per lunch for delivery. Delivery orders of 20+ lunches will receive a $20 discount. All orders of 20 or more also will be entered into a drawing to win one of 10 $20 HyVee Gift cards.
The pick-up or delivery window for April 24 is open from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at JB Young Opportunity Center, 1702 N. Main St., Davenport.
