Dierks Bentley to perform at 2025 JDC Concerts on the Course

Dierks Bentley

Multi-Grammy nominated country music superstar Dierks Bentley will take the Quad Cities stage this summer at the 2025 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run.

The hit-making singer/songwriter will perform Saturday, July 5 – completing this year’s JDC Concerts on the Course lineup.

Mr. Bentley, whose music stands at the intersection of mainstream country and bluegrass, has been a regular at the top of the country charts since arriving in Nashville some two decades ago, the JDC said in a news release.

The three-time CMA Award winner’s show will feature his new hit “She Hates Me” along with fan favorites from his eight No. 1 albums and catalog of 22 No. 1 songs.

Tickets for the John Deere Classic go on sale Tuesday, April 1, at johndeereclassic.com.

“The John Deere Classic couldn’t be more thrilled to have Dierks Bentley perform for our fans after Saturday’s third round at TPC Deere Run,” JDC Tournament Director Andrew Lehman said. “Dierks is truly an authentic entertainer whose energy and musicianship our audience is going to know and appreciate.”

Now in its third year, Concerts on the Course was the brainchild of tournament sponsor John Deere, headquartered in Moline just miles from TPC Deere Run in Silvis.

Lineup expands JDC appeal

“When we introduced Concerts on the Course two years ago, John Deere’s goal was to expand the appeal of the John Deere Classic beyond that of traditional golf fans and introduce other elements of the Quad Cities community to the tournament and the beautiful setting of TPC Deere Run,” Mara Downing, John Deere’s vice president of Global Brand and Communications, said in a news release Wednesday, March 26. “We think Dierks Bentley and Zac Brown Band are going to help us achieve that goal again this year.”

The JDC announced Zac Brown’s appearance in mid February.

Both performances are scheduled to take place at approximately 5:45 p.m. on a stage to the golfers’ left of the 18th fairway, a short time after golf concludes, Mr. Lehman said. Fans will be seated on the hillside to golfers’ right of the fairway directly across from the stage.

The 54th edition of the Quad Cities’ PGA TOUR event will be played the week of July 2-6 at TPC Deere Run with Davis Thompson as defending champion and a purse of $8.4 million.

The John Deere Classic, which includes Birdies for Charity, has helped raise more than $189.6 million for charity since the tournament’s founding in 1971.

About Dierks Bentley

Climbing to the top of country music charts over 20 years, the Capitol Records Nashville artist remains an outlier in altitude and attitude. More than a hit-making singer/songwriter, he has become the standard bearer for roots music in the mainstream and a multi-Platinum superstar.

Mr. Bentley’s newest single, “She Hates Me,” is an example of his creative evolution and is making waves at country radio, becoming the most added song of the week and marking it as his most-added debut yet.

Praised by critics and fans alike, the track blends Mr. Bentley’s trademark humor with a fresh sound, combining elements of Whitley and Weezer to bring a playful edge to his signature country style. The song adds to his extensive catalog of hits including his debut single “What Was I Thinkin’” in 2003.

His warm vocal rasp and unique sonic influence have earned him eight No. 1 albums, 22 No. 1 songs, over nine billion global streams, and three CMA Awards. He also garnered 15 Grammy nominations and is a member of Grand Ole Opry.

Fans across the world connect to the country star’s songs – mostly self-penned – featuring equal parts energy, emotion, and epiphany. Tastemakers continue to hail him as one of the country’s most authentic entertainers.

Mr. Bentley is set to bring top-flight musicianship and boundless energy to the nation’s most iconic settings with his 2025 Broken Branches Tour. Kicking off in May, the tour will roll through more than 30 cities nationwide.

Beyond music, he has created professional endeavors with his Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son and his four “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” locations. Most recently, he launched ROW 94, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted with only “three ingredients and the truth” at Kentucky’s Green River Distilling Co.
