Western Illinois University-Quad Cities is hosting an Open Mic Event from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, in rooms 103 and 104 in the Riverfront Hall in Moline.
The event, hosted by WIU-QC and IDEAS (Interdisciplinary English and Arts Society), encourages attendees to share up to five minutes of self-expression, including poetry, song lyrics or literary passages – whether original or written by another author – on any topic of interest. The event aims to provide a welcoming space for creativity, storytelling and artistic engagement within the WIU-QC community.
Participants and attendees are encouraged to bring their own drinks and a prepaid lunch from Tamales for Hope will be provided. Those interested in performing can sign up via the QR code.
