The LeClaire Buffalo Stampede Sweepstakes features 17 decorated buffalo statues placed at businesses around town, each named and given background stories by their respective owners. The Buffalo Stampede officially launches at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Buffalo Bill Museum, 199 Front St. (on the LeClaire riverfront). There will be free admission to the museum and an appearance by Buffalo Bill along with a ribbon cutting with the LeClaire Chamber of Commerce.
