The Rock Island Arsenal is inviting the community to participate in its Rocktoberfest event Friday, Sept. 20, from 3–10 p.m. at the historic Quarters 1 on Arsenal Island.
Join the arsenal in this new Quarters 1 Rocktoberfest location as it celebrates with live music by Moonshine Run, live wrestling by Honor Among Wrestling, children’s activities and German food and beer. Limited edition steins will be available for sale during the event.
Also part of the celebration, visitors are invited to participate in a Best German Dressed contest. Bring out your lederhosen and dirndl to show your Rocktoberfest spirit.
Those who wish to participate in the event must visit at the Visitor Welcome Center at the Moline gate and obtain a pass for the installation.
Please bring your Real ID, or two forms of picture ID if you don’t have a Real ID, and know your social security number to obtain a pass good for a year.
