Alternating Currents seeks Indie Makers for market Aug. 17

Alternating Currents Indie Makers

Indie Makers is looking for vendors for an outdoor Mini Made Market that will be part of the  Alternating Currents Festival in August in Downtown Davenport.

The annual festival celebrates music, comedy, and the arts – bringing thousands of people to Downtown Davenport

The Indie Makers event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, on East Second Street between Perry Avenue and Pershing Street. The 2024 Alternating Currents Festival runs from Thursday to Sunday, Aug. 15-18.

Indie Makers, in this case, means an independently owned business. Organizers are aiming for handmade products from craftspeople, designers, and artists who want to showcase their wares. They will be hand-selecting each vendor to make sure they’re the perfect fit for the market.

To apply, visit here. The cost for vendors is $150 for a 10-foot by 10-foot booth. A white tent will be required.
