GrowClinton is encouraging residents to Go Purple in June in support of Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.
Residents can Go Purple by lighting their home or office with a purple light bulb. Addington Place of Clinton will supply a lightbulb for anyone who cannot purchase one themselves. To get one, call 563-503-4093.
Supporters can also wear purple and encourage others to do the same, host or attend an Alzheimer’s education program or support group, GrowClinton said. Share your efforts on social media with the tag @alziowa and #endalz
