CLINTON, IOWA – The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, P.C. opened a new OB-GYN satellite clinic here within Quality Care Clinic and Surgery Center at 2745 Lincoln Highway.
Made up of physicians, certified nurse midwives, advanced nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, The Group specializes in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health and offers services from first visits to pregnancy and menopause.
Heather Mink will now accept OB and GYN patients on Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. at the new Clinton location. She is a Clinton area native, born and raised in neighboring Camanche.
While working full-time at Genesis BirthCenter she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Iowa in 2017. Ms. Mink earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, graduating in December 2019.
“As much as I loved being a labor and delivery nurse, I hated that once that woman left our unit, I wouldn’t see her again,” she said in a news release. “I wanted to be able to support women throughout their life transitions from their first period, through pregnancy, and menopause. It’s such an incredibly humbling experience that women choose me to walk beside them on their health journey.”
