Big Brothers Big Sisters now is accepting pre-orders for what will be its 35th annual Plant Sale, the mentoring organization’s largest and longest-running fundraiser.
For more than 30 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley has provided more than 150 varieties of quality annuals through its sale. This year, BBBS will have two retail sales: May 10-13 at Northwest Bank & Trust, 100 E. Kimberly Road, Davenport; and May 9-11 at Fortress Bank in Macomb, Illinois. Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at both locations.
Again this year, BBBS is offering a convenient, pre-ordering option through April 22. The organization suggests workplaces, co-workers, friends and family go together to place a pre-order. All orders will be delivered to one location; orders of $100 or more are eligible for free delivery within a 30-mile radius of the plant sales.
