As eateries gear up for a milestone QC Restaurant Week April 8-14, Visit Quad Cities is seeking nominees to honor through the annual event’s ‘Surprise a Server’ program.
The deadline for nominating outstanding individuals in the local restaurant industry is Monday, March 25.
In 2023, Visit Quad Cities said it received nearly 200 nominations from the public, resulting in the selection of five exceptional nominees honored for their exemplary customer service.
The 12th annual QC Restaurant Week also will feature a record-breaking number of participating restaurants and eateries. More than 100 local restaurants will be participating in this year’s event.
Hosted by Visit Quad Cities and sponsored by WQAD, Tri-City Equipment and Iowa Pork Producers, QC Restaurant Week continues to emphasize the importance of local restaurants as key contributors to the region’s identity and economy. It encourages patrons to broaden their culinary horizons by trying dishes from participating businesses and to continue supporting the thriving local food scene.
“We’re thrilled to have reached a new milestone in QC Restaurant Week participation,” Lindsey Row, Visit QC’s director of public relations and communications, said in a news release.
“This accomplishment not only reflects the enthusiasm Quad Citizens have for our local hospitality scene but also underscores the dedicated efforts of Visit Quad Cities professional staff. We look forward to hosting giveaways, promoting restaurant specials and sharing the excitement of Restaurant Week with our community next month.”
