UnityPoint Clinic is welcoming the addition of board-certified ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists Ryan Krogmann, DO, and Adam Schwalje, MD.
The addition allows for the expansion of specialty care services offered by UnityPoint Clinic in the Quad Cities region.

“We are excited to offer specialized ENT services in our community, providing patients with personalized care and treatment options for a wide range of ENT disorders,” Dr. Schwalje said in a news release. “Dr. Krogmann and I are dedicated to delivering compassionate care and helping patients achieve excellent health outcomes.”
ENT disorders encompass a wide range of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, along with the head and neck, which can significantly impact a person’s quality of life. Many times, obstructions or complications in this area can affect your breathing, eating and sleeping. Those include some of the following:
- Ear conditions including hearing loss, chronic or recurring ear infections, or tinnitus.
- Nose conditions including chronic runny nose, nosebleeds or deviated septum.
- Throat conditions including persistent sore throat, tonsillitis, difficulty swallowing or vocal cord disorders.
- Sleep conditions including snoring and sleep apnea.
UnityPoint Clinic ENT – Moline offers Inspire therapy. It’s an FDA-approved solution for people with obstructive sleep apnea who have tried and struggled with a CPAP machine. The implant works comfortably inside the body with a patient’s natural breathing to treat sleep apnea. It delivers gentle pulses to key airway muscles so patients can breathe regularly and get a good night’s sleep.
UnityPoint Clinic ENT – Moline will begin seeing patients on Monday, March 11. Patients must request a referral from their primary care provider. With the addition of ENT services at UnityPoint Clinic, patients can access expert care tailored to their specific needs, providing relief and improving overall well-being.
“We understand the impact that ENT disorders can have on our patients’ lives, and our goal is to provide effective solutions that improve their quality of life,” says Dr. Krogmann.
The clinic is located inside Trinity Moline medical office building at 600 John Deere Road, Suite 400. For more information, call (309) 623-7470 or visit unitypoint.org.
