Bettendorf Mayor Bob Gallagher will give the annual Bettendorf State of the City Address  on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Quad-Cities Waterfront Convention Center.

The doors will open at 11 a.m., opening remarks and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the State of the City Address will begin at 12:15 p.m.

Bettendorf city officials said the city have five main goals that will be addressed during the event:

    • Remain a financially sound city that provides quality city services.
    • Have orderly growth and quality development.
    • Support riverfront/downtown development to create a destination for entertainment and living.
    • Grow current businesses and attract new businesses.
    • Be a premier place to live in the Quad Cities.

Those five main goals were also discussed during last year’s State of the City Address.
