Moline residents now have a new way to connect with city officials through Rep’d, a video question and answer platform.

The platform, which launched this summer, is designed to connect constituents with staff members to discuss city projects, policies, procedures and more through short, personalized videos, according to a news release.

To use the platform, residents simply will visit repd.us/moline, ask a question and wait for a staff member to create a video response. Residents will immediately be notified by email when their question has been answered.

“We think this is a unique, helpful and engaging tool to help keep the residents of Moline fully aware and engaged in all the things going on in our city,” said Moline City Administrator Bob Vitas in the release.

“Transparency matters to us. What our residents think and need matters to us. We believe Rep’d will help make sure everyone in the Moline community is heard, informed and has a personal connection to city leadership.”

For more information and to join the discussion, visit repd.us/moline.
