The Taste of East Moline is set for Thursday, May 18, at The Rust Belt, 533 12th Ave., East Moline.
The food-sampling event is a fundraiser to help the East Moline Community Fund. Tickets are $30.Â
The event will feature food samplings from more than 15 local restaurants including:
- Cattlemen’s Meat Market
- Combine Steakhouse
- G’s Popcorn
- Jewel Osco
- Junior’s Sports Bar
- Midwest Ale Works
- Olde Towne Bakery Express
- QC Plate Me
- Revive Cafe
- Rudy’s Tacos
- St. Giuseppe’s Pizza
- The Palace
- Uncle Rich’s Famous Coney Island Hot Dogs
- 11th Hour Bar & Grill
In addition to the food, there also will be a cash bar, raffles and live entertainment.
East Moline Glass Co. is the title sponsor. Other sponsors will include: IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union, Kunes Ford of East Moline, Toppert Jetting Service, TBK Bank and Top of the World Advertising LLC.Â
The East Moline Community Fund, founded in 2011, is a non-profit group created to build charitable resources dedicated to strengthening the community now and for future generations. The group also receives and administers charitable gifts and works with citizens to achieve their goals to improve the community.
The Taste of East Moline was held for the first time last year to support the grant-making efforts of the East Moline Community Fund.
