DEWITT, Iowa – A new precast concrete manufacturing facility is opening for business in this community.
Iconic Precast is scheduled to start operations in May at 617 E. Industrial St. The new facility will create 25 full- time jobs, according to economic development officials in DeWitt.
“Iconic Precast is an exciting addition to our community,” said Angela Rheingans, president and CEO of the DeWitt Chamber & Development Company, in a news release made available on Tuesday, April 28. “Their investment in the Crossroads Business Park reflects the continued momentum we are building in DeWitt. Economic development is essential to growing our community’s tax base, which in turn allows us to support the services, infrastructure, and amenities that make DeWitt a great place to live and work. We are proud to welcome a company that shares our commitment to long-term growth and community success.”
She added that Iconic Precast brings a modern, quality-focused approach to the production of precast concrete solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects across the Midwest. The company specializes in architectural precast wall panels, structural precast systems, insulated wall panels, and custom-engineered solutions designed to meet the demands of today’s construction environment.
“Our team brings decades of combined experience in precast concrete, cast-in-place construction, structural steel, and large-scale project management. We understand the demands of real-world construction because we’ve worked in the field, managed crews, and delivered complex projects for some of the most demanding clients in the industry,” according to a statement on the company’s website.
Panels can be ordered in variety of sizes up to 14 feet by 65 feet with a thickness of up to 16 inches. They also manufacture manholes and catch basins for underground utility projects.
“We are extremely excited to build this venture and plant our roots in the community of DeWitt who has been nothing but helpful and supportive,” said Lucas Rorah, Iconic Precast’s president and operations manager.
The company’s presence in DeWitt will enhance access to high-quality precast building products throughout the region, supporting faster construction timelines and reliable project delivery for developers, contractors, and communities alike, added Ms. Rheingans.
