A new event venue in the Village of East Davenport will get its official welcome to the community today, Friday, April 10.
The Eddy, a newly renovated space for gatherings, will host a grand opening celebration and public open house 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 10, on the third floor of 1019 Mound St.
That site is the three-story Village Market Place building near the intersection of Mound Street and East River Drive. That building is also home to the Grilled Cheese Bar, Rocket Resale and Studio Arris.
The event will feature self-guided tours, light refreshments and special offers from area businesses.
During the open house, The Eddy will be partnering with these businesses: Serenity + Love Weddings; Main Event Catering – Quad Cities; WeddingTalk: and Josefine & Co. Events.

The Eddy, which hosted its first event a few weeks ago, is set up for weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, birthday parties and more.
