MAQUOKETA, Iowa – A new public relations and communications company called AMK Communications, LLC is open for business in this community.
“I’m passionate about words, how those words are crafted into messages and stories, and who receives those messages and stories,” said Amanda Klemp, owner of AMK Communications, in a news release. “I look forward to sharing the expertise I’ve gained through 20 years of diverse experience in this profession to meet the messaging and communication needs of your business or organization.”
AMK offers personalized public relations, corporate communications, crisis communications, strategic consulting, and editorial services to businesses and organizations in Eastern Iowa, according to information from the company.
AMK started doing business in just that last few weeks, and is a one-person operation. Ms. Klemp told the QCBJ that she is hoping to get clients from the Quad Cities region.
