East Moline hosts State of City address March 26

    East Moline Mayor Reggie Freeman will present the 2026 East Moline State of the City Address, hosted in partnership with the East Moline Silvis Rotary Club, during a luncheon Thursday, March 26. 

    The event will be held at The Bend Event Center, 910 Bend Blvd., East Moline. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., with lunch will be served at noon.

    The annual event will bring together government officials, business leaders, civic organizations, and residents to reflect on East Moline’s accomplishments in 2025 and to share priorities and initiatives planned for the year ahead.

    During the address, Mayor Freeman will highlight recent progress, recognize community partnerships, and outline a forward-looking vision focused on continued growth, collaboration, and opportunity across East Moline.

    RSVPs to attend the address are requested by Friday, March 20. The cost to have lunch is $25 per person. The forum is open to the public, free for those who do not have lunch. 

    Attendees may pay in advance with a credit card by calling (309) 752-1599. The lunch menu includes glazed grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, corn with salad and roll.
