A webinar co-hosted by the Indiana, Illinois, Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting (IIIFFC) and the Illinois Power Agency is scheduled for Feb. 10 to inform public bodies about federal clean energy tax credits and public works construction standards.

Cassie Rowlands from CYR Strategies will discuss the elective pay mechanism, explaining how tax-exempt entities can receive federal tax credits for clean energy projects.
In addition, the IIIFFC’s Jodi Frailey and Andy Waeyaert will present information on improving public works construction standards through Responsible Bidder Ordinances, or RBOs.
The event is designed specifically for elected officials and staff of public bodies.
