LivWell Seniors is partnering with Lauren P. Brown, award-winning author and Alzheimer’s expert, to bring a series of free educational seminars on caregiving for loved ones with dementia to Quad Cities.

The seminars will be at 6 p.m. on these days:

    Davenport.

The seminars will feature an interactive conversation, led by Ms. Brown, to give caregivers

practical tools, a fresh perspective and encouragement on their caregiving journey. Topics will

    include:

How to feel empowered when communicating with doctors and specialists; Navigating family dynamics and planning ahead with less conflict; and Creating meaningful, stress-free holiday moments through the eyes of a dementia patient.

Ms. Brown has a Ph.D in advanced human behavior, more than a decade of clinical experience

and is an award-winning author of five books on the Alzheimer’s caregiving journey.

The seminars all feature the same presentation, but are scheduled to accommodate the needs

of adult children or working spouses, who are caring for their loved ones with a dementia

    diagnosis.

RSVPs are requested by calling (563) 265-1577 or emailing [email protected].

LivWell Seniors and LivWell Cares services are always free to families. They are reimbursed by

the providers that use their network of connections.
