The Family Credit Union, a Quad Cities not-for-profit financial cooperative, announced Tracey Koenig has been appointed its new chief operating officer.
“It’s a privilege to join The Family Credit Union in this important role,” Ms. Koenig said in a news release Tuesday, Oct. 7. “I look forward to supporting our team, serving our members, and becoming part of the community.”
Ms. Koenig brings extensive financial service expertise to the COO role, having launched her career as a bank examiner before moving into leadership roles as a compliance officer, auditor and operations officer.
“Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge and proven leadership to our organization,” Michael Brandt, CEO of The Family Credit Union, said in the release. “Her expertise will strengthen our operations and help us continue delivering the exceptional service our members deserve.”
Beyond her professional work, Ms. Koenig is dedicated to family and community. She and her husband, Bill, have three children and three grandchildren. Ms. Koenig is also excited to make the Quad Cities her new home.
The Family Credit Union was founded in 1935 as the Kohrs Credit Union, later changing its name to Oscar Mayer Credit Union after the Oscar Mayer Company’s purchase of Kohrs.
