The Rotary Club of Bettendorf is now accepting applications for grants of up to $5,000 from qualified Quad Cities non-profit organizations.
The Rotary Club’s grants committee will consider applications from non-profit organizations that provide basic human services, serve youth or meet local community needs. Previous grantees and new applicants are encouraged to apply.
“Even though we are a Bettendorf club, we actively consider requests from qualified organizations throughout the Quad-City community,” Joe Pacha, the committee chair, said in a news release announcing the new round of grants.
Funding for the nonprofit grants is primarily generated through the Bettendorf Rotary’s Lobsterfest fundraiser.
Applications are available on the Bettendorf Rotary Club website, and must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 15. To be considered, organizations must complete the online application form here.
Grants are not awarded for annual fundraising, organizational endowments, deficit financing, grants to individuals, scholarship funds, political groups or activities, Rotarians and their families, or for sectarian purposes.
Chartered on May 22, 1957, the Bettendorf Rotary Club has more than 100 members and lives by the motto “Service above Self” through local, national, and international projects. The club meets at noon every Wednesday at the Tanglewood Hills Pavilion, 4250 Middle Road.
