The YWCA Quad Cities Empowerment Center, 115 Mississippi Ave., Davenport, is offering help to Quad Citians who want to register to vote in the Tuesday, Nov. 5, presidential election.Â
Staff will assist with various voter registration needs, including providing internet and a computer to help the community register to vote or checking their status online, to figuring out what polling location they are assigned to. Â
Appointments will be available starting Thursday, Oct. 3, through Saturday, Oct. 19.Â
On the day of their appointment, those interested will need to bring:Â
- State ID or Driver’s License, non-operator ID, or the last four digits of their Social Security number.
- Proof of Residence such as a utility, medical or insurance bill, bank statement, pay stub, or official mail from any government agency.
