WALCOTT, Iowa – Get ready for a festival of trucks, music, food, fireworks and thousands of visitors at the 2025 Walcott Truckers Jamboree.

The party will roll in Thursday through Saturday, July 10-12, at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, which is located at Exit 284 off Interstate 80 in Walcott.

The celebration features free admission, concerts and parking. There also is a free shuttle service from the parking area to the event grounds.

“The Walcott Truckers Jamboree is a fun, free event for everyone to attend. Come see the Super Truck Beauty Contest, the antique trucks, the concerts, the Iowa pork chop cook out, and so much more,” said Lee Meier, marketing manager at the Iowa 80 Group.

Last year’s three-day celebration attracted more than 53,000 with visitors coming from many states and two Canadian provinces, according to Truckers Jamboree organizers.

That event will be a celebration of almost all things in the trucking world. It will also include more than 150 vendors, most of them selling products and services related to the trucking industry.

Country music on tap

But one of the main events of this year’s Truckers Jamboree will be the country music band Little Texas. The award-winning band will headline the celebration and take to the main stage at 7 p.m. Friday, July 11.

Some of Little Texas’ iconic songs include “God Bless Texas,” “Amy’s Back in Austin” and “You and Forever and Me.” The group has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards – winning the Top Vocal Group of the Year award in 1993. Little Texas also won the CMA Album of the Year award in 1994.
