Jennifer Sautter will chair the Visit Quad Cities Board of Directors and four new members have been added to the panel for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, the region’s destination marketing organization announced today, July 8.Jennifer SautterMs. Sautter has served on the Visit board since 2016, and brings a strong background in marketing, the regional tourism agency said in a news release. Her wealth of experience includes serving as traffic and production planner at MindFire Communications in LeClaire, where she has worked since 2016; as vice president of marketing at Heart of America Group in Moline; and in marketing leadership at Von Maur, which is headquartered in Davenport.New members joining the Visit QC board that she will lead this fiscal year are:
Rock Island Mayor Ashley Harris.
Tasha Keegan, TBK Bank, senior vice president, regional commercial banking executive for Quad Cities.
Mallory Merritt, CFO, Estes Construction.
Shawn Morrow, market president for UnityPoint Health – Quad Cities.
“It’s an honor to serve as the board chair for Visit Quad Cities,” Ms. Sautter said in the release. “I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members to build on the strong momentum of the organization and help advance our mission of positioning the Quad Cities as a must-experience riverfront destination,” she added.“Jennifer has served the Quad Cities in so many positive ways and we are proud to have her lead our board of directors,” said Dave Herrell, Visit’s CEO and president. “Her leadership has been instrumental throughout her tenure on the board. Always engaged and with a strong marketing and financial background, she continues to demonstrate a passion for tourism and our industry.”
Ontiveros saluted
Ms. Sautter follows immediate past Visit QC board chair Maria Ontiveros, a leader of Group O and Mercado on Fifth, whom Mr. Herrell thanked “for her commitment and service to the organization and our region.” He added: “We have some incredible opportunities ahead of our destination and I am energized and humbled by our board’s leadership and their eye toward the future.”The Visit Quad Cities Board works to include a diverse group of community leaders representing various businesses, organizations, attractions and city governments. Those Quad Citizens work to support the region’s tourism industry, economic growth, and quality of life while providing oversight and strategic direction for Visit Quad Cities, the release said.
