Registration is open for the 2025 UnityPoint Health Cup, a golf outing to benefit Trinity Cancer Center in Moline.
The event, presented by McLaughlin Motors in Moline, is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis. Tee times and sponsorships are available.
All proceeds will support UnityPoint Health – Trinity Cancer Center, which offers comprehensive cancer care services. Cancer rates in the Quad Cities exceed the national average and are projected to become the leading cause of death in the region within seven years, according to the 2024 Community Health Needs Assessment.
Trinity Cancer Center recently completed a $14 million expansion to meet this growing need. Upgrades included additional infusion chairs and private rooms, expanded patient care areas, modernized nurse workstations, a larger infusion waiting area and more office space.
Tricia Fisher, director of Oncology Services at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Cancer Center, said that support from events such as the UnityPoint Health Cup allows the center to invest in technology, staff and healing spaces. The event has generated more than $2 million over 20 years for Trinity hospitals.
The event is open to the public, but registration is required. The cost is $500 per golfer, $2,000 per foursome and includes greens fee, cart rental, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages, a golfer gift and 19th hole celebration with Trinity Health Foundation and Trinity senior leaders. It will begin at 5:30 p.m.
