United Way surveys QC on community needs

United Way Quad Cities is seeking the public’s feedback on the most critical issues facing the community as it works on setting strategic priorities and investments to foster meaningful changes.

To ensure its initiatives are rooted in community insights and priorities, United Way Quad Cities is launching a brief survey to gather input from stakeholders, including donors, residents and community organizations.

“We recognize that the most effective solutions are those developed in collaboration with the community,” Rene Gellerman, United Way Quad Cities president and CEO, said in a news release. “By actively seeking input from our stakeholders, we can ensure that our efforts are targeted where they are needed most and have the greatest impact.”

Over the years, United Way has supported countless individuals and families while addressing the pressing social issues and enhancing community well-being. Now with its mission to mobilize resources and partnerships to create positive, lasting change, the organization is turning to the community for guidance.

The survey, which takes about 10 minutes to complete, covers a range of topics related to community needs and priorities. United Way will use the insights from survey participants to  inform its decision-making processes and drive its investments.

“We are excited to engage with our community in this important dialogue,” Ms. Gellerman said. “By working together, we can create a stronger, more vibrant Quad Cities for all.”

The public is encouraged to participate in the survey by visiting here. The deadline for submissions is noon, Thursday, April 4.
