
Quad Citizens can learn more about the upcoming University of Iowa Venture School and also get an opportunity to meet the people behind the resources available in your entrepreneurial journey when SCORE and the Small Business Development Center host two meet and greet meetings.
The first is from 4-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Gilbert Room in the Bettendorf Public Library, 2950 Learning Campus Drive.
Another will be held from 5-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Fairmount Room at the Davenport Public Library, 3000 N Fairmount St.
Venture School will take place at Eastern Iowa Community College, 101 3rd St., Davenport, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. from Wednesday, March 5, to April 23. The cost is $298 per team of one to six people.
There is an opportunity to win $5,000 in pitch prize money. SCORE QCA can offer full scholarships for this program to deserving SCORE clients and promising others.
Whether you are a startup founder, a corporate innovator, or a business leader looking to test a new product concept, Venture School offers a dynamic learning experience that goes far beyond traditional business training. In addition, you can meet with SCORE Certified Mentors who can provide you with the guidance needed after you’ve completed the course.
