Two-way traffic could ‘strengthen the heart of downtown’

Drivers traveling through downtown Davenport will soon get a different view of the city. That’s because a portion of East Third Street will be converted from one-way to two-way traffic next week.
If the weather cooperates, Third Street – between Marquette Street and River Drive – will become a two-way road starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.
