A pair of Iowa women will be honored by the Iowa Donor Network (IDN) on the 2026 OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade Float in Pasadena, California, on New Year’s Day.
This year’s IDN honorees are:
- The late Natalie McCleary, an organ donor from Fruitland, Iowa, who will be remembered with a floragraph portrait on the float.
- April Wilson McCleary, a two-time living donor from Denver, Iowa, will participate in the Jan. 1 parade walking alongside the float as it travels down Colorado Boulevard.
In anticipation of the event, IDN held a private Rose Dedication Event on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Groundswell Café in Cedar Rapids. Friends, family, and professional partners were invited to honor loved ones through a rose dedication. The roses will be sent to California, placed on the OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade Float, and featured during the Rose Parade, joining thousands of others in celebrating the gift of life.
At the event, IDN recognized the women’s contributions to the donation and transplant community. The families of the honorees will travel to Pasadena, supported by a generous donation from the Gerdin Family Foundation.
