Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory in Moline is providing an opportunity for the community to sign a guest register, offer condolences, and receive a prayer card in memory of Pope Francis.
Trimble Manager Reid Trimble, a funeral director, said the funeral home is offering this service – similar to when Pope John Paul II died – to allow the community to join in mourning the pontiff who touched many lives.
The guest register and prayer cards will be available at the funeral home, 701 12th St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Friday, May 2. They also are available online at www.TrimbleFuneralHomes.com. The guestbook and all expressions of sympathy will be sent to the Vatican.
In addition, the Trimble family will donate to local Catholic charities in Pope Francis’ name for each condolence submitted in person or online.
