Taste of LeClaire

LECLAIRE – Numerous restaurants and other businesses are preparing to participate in the “Taste of LeClaire” celebration from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, March 22.

The event will provide visitors with free food and beverage samples, discounts on menu items and much more. Visitors must be at least 21 to sample the alcoholic beverages.

“Taste of LeClaire” is one of several event being planned this year to showcase many of LeClaire’s businesses.

How to get a taste

Here is a list of the participating businesses and their Taste of LeClaire offerings:

  • Antique Archaeology – Sample cookies from Shelly’s Sweet Sensations.
  • LeClaire Olive Oil & Canning Co. – Sample canning products, oils and vinegars, and other treats made with their products.
  • Aunt Hattie’s – A sampling of dip mixes and more.
  • Shelly’s Sweet Sensations – Sample homemade turtle brownie bites.
  • Crafted QC – Blue House Dry Goods dip samples and a Blue House cookie sample.
  • Wide River Winery Tasting Room – Pairing samples of jambalaya with So Sue Me Sue or Felony Red wines.
  • Cody Road Trading Post – Sampling Wild Bill’s craft sodas.
  • Cody Road Coffee – Sampling Buffalo Bill Butterscotch Latte.
  • The Potter’s House – Sampling their Amish Hot Pepper Jam and crackers.
  •  LeClaire Plant Co. – Offering food samples and introducing an all new plant inventory.
  • Bela – Sample flavored crackers and mocha drinks.
  • Ember on the Hill – Sampling Molly & You beer bread.
  • Razzleberries – Sampling its Organic Tea, two favorite coffee flavors and triple dark chocolate espresso beans. 
  • Mississippi River Distilling Co. – Offering a $10 Tap Cocktail Flight with $5 off a “to-go” cocktail when you purchase something that you sampled.
  • Cody Rose Flower Co. – Sampling its jalapeño jam and Olathea Creek Winery wine.
  • Nest Modern Goods – Samples of pretzels and other snack items.
  • Mississippi Cottage Antiques – Sampling Irish Soda Bread from the Taste of LeClaire cookbook.
  • Olathea Creek Winery – Offering $2 off wine special and chocolate tastings.
