TAG congratulates business partner Crawford Company

TAG is happy to congratulate our business partner Crawford Company for being
honored by the QC Business Journal as one of the Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies in the region!

It’s been a seven-decade “overnight success story” for Crawford, and they’re still
growing by leaps and bounds. Crawford Company is guided today, as it has been for
over 70 years, by Crawford’s original values: a commitment to product quality, customer service, innovation, business integrity, and a high regard for individual contributions. It’s no surprise that decades after its founding it continues to grow in status and service.

As the full-service advertising agency for Crawford for the past 15 years, TAG has been able to have a first-hand experience with the excellent service and quality Crawford offers to its clients. We’ve partnered with them on websites, SEO, video, and other advertising and marketing campaigns, and have been honored to be a part of their ongoing relationship with clients, providing excellent services for the Quad-Cities regional community.

Crawford specializes in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical
services, electrical, laser cutting, machining, welding, fabrication, brewing equipment and custom architectural products. Crawford products and services are found within commercial, industrial, and residential markets. Crawford’s foundation was built in the residential heating and cooling market, however, over time, they have diversified into a number of other realms.

Crawford’s history has been marked by hard work, savvy strategic decisions, and smart expansion into new areas of products and services. The company, founded by Navy veteran Harvey Crawford after serving his country in World War II, was founded in 1952, and has grown from a small shop into a thriving corporation that looks to carry its momentum into the decades ahead.

Crawford has expanded exponentially, most notably, since 1990. The company was
named to the 2003 Quad-City Business Journal’s “Fast 50” a listing recognizing the fastest growing companies in the area. In 2022, Crawford was named to the Quad
Cities Business Journal’s 15 Fastest Growing Companies. The recognition in both cases was well-deserved.

In 2000, Crawford bought the area’s largest laser-cutting center and formed a new Laser Division, adding a subsidiary, DSP Monoxivent, and entering the “source capture solution” market at a national level. The company broke ground on a new 21,000-square foot addition, completing the largest addition in its history in 2001, as its total square-footage grew to 47,000. In 2003, Crawford was ranked third-highest in the nation for industrial safety by SMACNA, and in 2010 it was ranked second in the nation for safety.

In 2008, Crawford/Monoxivent introduced its fiberglass reinforced plastics division.
Crawford’s three lasers were re-built and cutting capacity increased, leading to another expansion in 2010 as they added a plumbing division and a new 3500-watt laser to increase cutting capacity, growing the fiberglass reinforced plastics business with UnderDuct and Corrosion Composites brands. In 2012 they broke ground on a 20,000 square foot expansion for the Monoxivent division, and in 2013, Crawford expanded into the Dubuque market, opening Crawford North, and also got into micro-brewing equipment and launched brewtanks.com.

In 2018 the company opened an additional building at 31st Avenue in Rock Island for the Brew Equipment Division and in 2019, Crawford North in Dubuque expanded to a 12,000 square foot facility. The next year, Crawford formed a New Electrical Division and executed purchase agreements with Art-O-Lite Electrical and Seaberg Industries, which became a new division within Crawford, specializing in machining and fabrication.

In 2021, Crawford purchased three buildings located in Sunset Business Park. The
buildings provide an additional 133,000-sq. ft. for production work and storage, serving multiple divisions of the company. And in 2023, they expanded into another market, opening Crawford Muscatine.

As of 2024, subsidiaries of Crawford include Monoxivent Source Capture Systems,
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic products, and Seaberg Industries Machining Fabrication
Solutions.

Crawford Company remains dedicated to the ideals and principals that guided them
from a small shop to a premiere multi-tiered company. Their dedication to quality is
supported by their business integrity and high regard for their employees.

TAG has been pleased to team with Crawford as its creative and advertising partner for the past 15 years and looks forward to increased expansion. Congratulations on your fantastic honor!
